A véspera de feriado pareceu a altura ideal para dar um salto ao recém criado Centro de Trail de Valongo. A previsão meteorológica para a noite de quinta-feira prometia umas tréguas que se vieram a confirmar. O trilho escolhido foi o Trilho da Santa Justa. “Ora vamos lá dar a voltinha do costume…” pensávamos nós.
Arrancamos do parque de estacionamento e as primeiras impressões foram boas. A sinalética era a suficiente e os reflectores funcionavam na perfeição. Passamos a Santa e começamos a descer. Rolar, rolar,… eh lá! Um corte à esquerda! Isto é novidade! Yupiii… siga até Couce!
Vamos então então à segunda subidita… Oi! Uma moutinhada! Yupiii… outra vez.
Começam a cair umas pingas. Falta 1 km para o carro! Siga!
O relógio marca 12,10 km. Bingo!
Parabéns ao Luís Pereira e a toda a equipa que preparou este Centro de Trail. Ficou o desejo de provar os outros trilhos. Não é fácil surpreender em Valongo mas ainda assim o Trilho de Santa Justa conseguiu fazê-lo. Tem algum desnível mas sem exagerar, estradões para acelerar, single tracks para desfrutar, moutinhadas para maldizer e um bar na meta. É justo!
